Just a virtual disk (. Vdi. Vhd, ...) and paste as a new VPC VirtualBox is not as easy as it requires a unique UUID. In the simple copy in Explorer this is of course copied 1:1.
The command line tool VBoxManage, which is deposited with the installation of VirtualBox, but this can be changed later: - In the command line to the installation directory
navigate C: \\ Program Files \\ sun \\ xVM VirtualBox \\
- Run this program with the following parameters VBoxManage (assuming an exemplary VHD)
internalcommands sethduuid E: \\ Win7test.vhd
Thus, the cloned vhd. Just a random UUID generated and allocated.
